At the next online scientific seminar of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS, the report of the employee Khanimgiz Agabalayeva on "Innovations in digital printing systems" was heard.

According to Tehsil.biz, the speaker spoke about the history of the development of printing presses. He noted that the digital printers currently in use were developed in 1991 by the Nash Edition in California. Digital printing is more efficient for small volumes than traditional printing methods.

He said water pollution was the number one environmental risk factor in the textile industry. He said that traditional textile processing pollutes 20 percent of the world's valuable water resources. The digitalization of the industry will reduce the impact on the environment.

"Digital technologies use a lot of energy in traditional textile printing," he said, noting that 10 percent of the world's carbon dioxide emissions come from the fashion industry. He noted that climate change can be reduced by switching to clean, efficient textiles.
