Registration of candidates for participation in the 2nd attempt of the 1st stage of the residency entrance exam (knowledge assessment exam on basic subjects) on the basis of basic (basic higher) medical education is carried out from 16 to 22 July 2021 via the Internet.

 

Tehsil.biz informs that the candidates who applied to take the entrance exam in June 2021, if they want to take the re-examination (2nd attempt), they will add the exam fee (60 AZN) to the account of "Personal Cabinet". register by visiting the relevant page of the website (http://eservices.dim.gov.az/erizerez/erize/?frm=egov).

 

Candidates who are not registered to take the first exam can also register for this exam. After creating a "Personal Cabinet" on the Center's website ekabinet.dim.gov.az (if they do not have a personal account), these individuals add the amount required to apply (60 AZN) to the account of the "Personal Cabinet". Payment methods for adding money to the account can be found on the website epayment.dim.gov.az. These candidates also go to http://eservices.dim.gov.az/erizerez/erize/?frm=egov, fill in the "Candidate's electronic application" form and approve it. Candidates who have approved (made) their application are considered registered for the exam.

 

It should be noted that the second attempt of the knowledge assessment exam on basic subjects is scheduled for August 4, and the knowledge assessment exam on specialty subjects is scheduled for September.

 

Candidates are given 100 test tasks at each stage. In both stages, the candidate's correct answer to each test task is evaluated by 1 point. Wrong answers do not affect the candidate's exam results. Candidates who have passed the knowledge assessment exam in the basic subjects (40 or more points) are admitted to the knowledge assessment exam in the specialty subjects.

Candidates who have obtained an “acceptable” result in the basic subject knowledge assessment exam in 2020 and are eligible for residency, but did not participate in the application process from May 26 to June 4, can also take the knowledge assessment exam in specialty subjects (Phase II) can apply for from 16 to 22 July.

 

Students who have completed the third year of basic (basic higher) medical education (successfully passed the semester exams) are also admitted to the knowledge assessment exam on basic subjects. Students wishing to take the exam must register at the time set by the Center. Students who pass the basic knowledge assessment exam (40 or more points) will be admitted to the knowledge assessment exam on specialty subjects only after obtaining the right to be admitted to the residency, ie after completing basic (higher) medical education (see: “Residency” ”Magazine, № 1, 2021, p. 2).

 

The results of the candidates who have passed the knowledge assessment exam on basic subjects shall be valid for 5 (five) years.
