Mushvig Latif oglu Mammadov, who took part in the glorious victory in the Great Patriotic War and taught patriotism on the battlefield, was born on June 6, 1978.

Mammadov graduated from Shafag settlement secondary school of Beylagan region in 1995.

Having dreamed of becoming a soldier since childhood, Mammadov studied at the Baku Higher United Command School in 1995-1999 as a Tactical Motorized Rifle Commander.

He was promoted to lieutenant in 1999, senior lieutenant in 2001, captain in 2004, and major in 2012. He was awarded several times for his fruitful work during his military service. According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he was awarded the III degree medal "For Flawless Service", the II degree medal "For Flawless Service", the jubilee medal "90th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan", the jubilee medal "95th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan" and many other honorary was awarded with decrees.
Since 2018, he has been working as the Head of Youth Pre-Conscription Training at Secondary School No. 184 in the capital.

Mammadov, a father of two, went to the front voluntarily as soon as the Patriotic War broke out. During the Patriotic War, he performed various combat missions in Gubadli, Fizuli and Sugovushan directions. Mammadov was awarded the medal "For the Motherland", "Participation in the Patriotic War" and "For Merits in the Patriotic War".
