Educational institutions of the occupied regions temporarily located in various settlements of Azerbaijan will be returned to their former places.

The Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan continues to disseminate information on educational institutions in the liberated lands and the number of students studying there.

It should be noted that about thirty years ago, as a result of the Armenian aggression on Azerbaijani lands, secondary schools in the occupied territories were relocated to various settlements in Azerbaijan and began to operate there. For example, out of 86 and 73 schools that once existed in Fizuli and Jabrayil districts, 80 and 41 educational institutions now operate in different regions of Azerbaijan, respectively. These schools have more than 22,000 students originally from Nagorno-Karabakh and more than 3,000 teachers.
