An online meeting was held with the winners of the 5th grant competition on development and innovations in education.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Education Firudin Gurbanov, Head of Education Development Programs Elvin Rustamov, Acting Head of Research and Innovation Vusala Aliyeva and 179 winning project managers.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Education Firudin Gurbanov spoke about the important tasks facing general education institutions in educating students in the national spirit and instilling in them a sense of patriotism. Firudin Gurbanov said that educators must be ready for modern challenges, be closely involved in the development of the country and its modernization.

At the end of his speech, speaking about the importance and significance of the competition, the Deputy Minister of Education praised the projects, congratulated the winners and wished them success.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Education has approved the financing of a total of 818 projects for 2017-2021, including 226 projects in the "General Education Institutions" category and 592 projects in the "Individual" category.
