Applications for the "Surat" acceleration program, created for the purpose of further improving existing startups and making them ready for investment, are announced.

Tehsil.biz informs that startups with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and a formed team are admitted to the "Speed" program partnered with IE Business School, one of the world's most prestigious educational institutions for entrepreneurship education. Another requirement for joining the program is an intermediate level of English. The last application is scheduled for September 15.

Previously, the "SABAH.lab" Acceleration Center accepted applications for the "Surat" acceleration program in February-March of the current year. Although more than 50 teams applied to the program, only 11 teams were selected and got the opportunity to join the acceleration. During April-July of the current year, the residents further developed the MVP and presented their startups to local and international investors at the largest local startup and innovation event - "Baku ID", which was organized on July 18. Negotiations are currently underway with both local and international investors, and some teams have already managed to attract large amounts of investment from them.

"SABAH.lab" residents share their program experiences and say that "SABAH.lab" played a big role in the formation and functioning of their startups as a company and at the same time supported their development at every stage. Even for some, the expert and mentor support provided by "SABAH.lab" led to a change in the direction of the idea in a more appropriate and coherent direction. In the end, this attracted the attention of investors and led to attracting investment. Residents especially emphasize that the "SABAH.lab" team, in addition to world-renowned mentors, does not hesitate to help.

This time, the "Speed" program has made some changes in its concept. "SABAH.lab" extended the duration of the program from 3 months to 6 months in order to develop startups more strongly. Extending the duration of the program will not affect the idea verification phase. This time, startups that will get resident status will have more time to validate their ideas. Also, "SABAH.lab" provides access to a larger network of investors by expanding its network of both angel and enterprise investors. In addition, SABAH.lab continues to provide benefits such as office service, financial and legal support, and meetings with local and foreign experts within the program.

For admission to the program, first of all, the application form is filled out. The "SABAH.lab" team reviews the applications and selected candidates are invited to an interview with the team. Candidates who successfully pass this stage will meet with "SABAH.lab" board and program partners in the 2nd interview stage.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to join the acceleration program of "SABAH.lab".
