Farid Alakbarli, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, President of the Union of Medical Historians of Azerbaijan, Member of the Board of the International Medical History Society (ISMM), Head of the Department of Translation and Printing of Manuscripts and Old Printed Books of the Institute of Manuscripts named after Mohammad Fuzuli of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences has died.

Farid Muallim was one of the well-known valuable researchers not only in Azerbaijan, but also abroad, who devoted his entire life to the study of science and manuscripts.
