Baku State University (BSU) and the University of South Bohemia in the Czech Republic have signed a cooperation agreement.

 

 It was noted that the sides exchanged views on the establishment of new relations between universities and the prospects of joint activities of educational institutions.

 

Rector of BSU Elchin Babayev noted that there are 12 teaching laboratories and 2 research laboratories at the Faculty of Biology. Giving information about the double diploma project in the fields of parasitology, infectious biology, biochemistry, hydrobiology, cell biology at the faculty, the rector said that today's meeting will create a great basis for sustainable relations.

 

Rector of the University of South Bohemia Bohumil Jirousek stressed that this agreement is a beginning for future cooperation between the universities: “BSU is the oldest educational institution in Azerbaijan, and South Bohemia is a very young university. I am confident that successful projects can be implemented in these areas based on the experience of both universities. ”

 

The agreement on facilitation of exchange of masters and postgraduates between Baku State University and the University of South Bohemia, organization of bilateral joint symposiums, seminars and conferences, courses and curricula, cooperation in research projects, organization of educational activities, exchange of academic and administrative staff. obtained.
