OFFICIAL STATEMENT on allegations that the head of a kindergarten in Baku hired employees infected with COVID-19

Solmaz Hajiyeva, the director of Kindergarten No. 117 in the Yasamal district, has been accused of violating quarantine rules by hiring employees infected with the coronavirus.

 

We contacted the Baku City Department of Preschool Education Institutions and Orphanages about the issue.

 

In response to a request from paralel.az, the department said that a teacher in one of the groups operating in the kindergarten was infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19):

 

"By the decision of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, the group was quarantined for two weeks. The teacher, technician and children in the group were also released. The kindergarten has been disinfected.

 

According to the department, the director of the kindergarten, Solmaz Hajiyeva, said that the rumors about the employment of employees infected with the coronavirus do not reflect the truth.
