The capital's schoolchildren have successfully represented our country in the international arena.

According to Tehsil.biz, Elchin Musazadeh, a student of Baku Technical and Humanitarian Lyceum No. 2, and Yusif Gasimov, a student of School No. 220, won bronze medals at the 37th Balkan Mathematical Olympiad in Romania.

Yusif Gasimov, a student of school-lyceum No. 220, was awarded an incentive certificate at the 61st International Mathematical Olympiad in St. Petersburg.

The capital's schoolchildren have successfully represented our country at the XVII International Jautykov International Olympiad in Physics, Mathematics and Informatics (IZhO) in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Thus, Yusif Gasimov, an 11th grade student of school-lyceum No. 220, won a silver medal, Javad Ismayilzadeh, a 10th grade student of school-lyceum No. 72, and Rustam Tahmazov, an 11th grade student of secondary school No. 117, won bronze medals. Amin Jalilov, an 11th grade student of secondary school No. 269, won a bronze medal in computer science.

Aydin Suleymanli, a student of Baku Secondary School No. 249, achieved great success at the Vladimir Bato Kontic tournament in Niksic, Montenegro. A. Suleymanli scored 6.5 points in 9 rounds and became the winner of the competition. With this result, the talented student also scored a grandmaster score.

Seljan Abdurahmanli, a ninth-grader at Secondary School No. 82, took second place and won a silver medal in the international swimming competition at the Tokyo 2021 Summer Olympics in Riga, Latvia.

Nijat Huseynov, an 11th grade student of the capital's secondary school No. 265, won a bronze medal at the world championship among young boxers in Keltse, Poland.

In the “Imagine Cup Junior” virtual artificial intelligence hackathon organized by Microsoft, a team of 5 people led by Sanuber Mammadova, a computer science teacher at school-lyceum No. 267 in Baku - Elnur Mammadli from high school No. 27, Rza from Physics, Mathematics and Informatics Lyceum Huseynov and Said Suleymanov, Farid Azizov and Shahmar Agayev from "Zekalar Lyceum" No. 287. Our team won the second place in the event attended by students from Greece, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania and Russia.

Musa Mammadov, a student of the 8th grade of secondary school No. 189-190, took the 12th place in the country and the 128th place in the world in the SASMO (Singapore International Mathematical Olympiad) Olympiad.
