A showcase named "Hinayakhdi ceremony" is organized in the newly established exposition at the National Museum of Azerbaijan History.

Tehsil.biz informs that Gulzadeh Abdulova, head of the museum's Ethnography Scientific Fund department, informed about this in an interview with AzerTAC.

He said that in the showcase there are various exhibits depicting the henna ceremony, which belongs to the wedding traditions of our people - kolchak, henna glass, khoncha cover, henna band, majmeki, etc. takes place.

Those exhibits belonging to the 19th and 20th centuries collected from Baku, Ganja, Sheki, Karabakh and other regions of our country stand out for their uniqueness.

Khinayakhdi ceremony has developed in the regions of Azerbaijan over the centuries and turned into a rich custom system.
