A criminal case has been initiated against the school director in Lerik.

Tehsil.biz informs that this was reported by the district prosecutor's office.

It was reported that an investigation was conducted in the district prosecutor's office based on a citizen's appeal regarding the illegalities that occurred in the Buludul village secondary school of the region.

During the investigation, it was established that the director of the mentioned educational institution, Rasim Shahbazov, embezzled more than 16,000 manats of state funds in the name of buying fuel for the school's boiler house, which has been in a state of disrepair for a long time.

According to the fact, a criminal case was initiated under articles 179.2.3 and 179.2.4 of the Criminal Code (embezzlement by using a position of care and causing considerable damage).

The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
