Dean of the Pedagogical Faculty of the Azerbaijan Cooperation University Zakir Aliyev has died.

According to Tehsil.biz, this was reported to Report by the university.

It was stated that Aliyev died at the age of 64.

Lets` noted that, Z.Aliyev was born on February 5, 1957 in Gulmammadli village of Jalilabad region. Since 2014, he has been the dean of the Pedagogical Faculty.

In 1979-1985, Z.Aliyev worked as a teacher, deputy director for educational work and school director at a secondary school in Jalilabad region.

From 1985 to the present, he has worked as a teacher, senior teacher, associate professor at AKU. In 1989, he defended his dissertation on "Money circulation in Azerbaijan in the VII-IX centuries" and was awarded the title of "PhD in History."

In 1993, he received the title of associate professor of humanities. He is the author of 5 scientific works, 1 monograph, 82 scientific articles.

From 1993 to 2003 he was the head of the "Humanities" department, from 2007 to 2012 he was the head of the "History" department, from February 2012 to September 2014 he was the head of the "Master's" department worked in office.
