On the eve of the 880th anniversary of the great poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi, President Ilham Aliyev's announcement of 2021 as the "Year of Nizami Ganjavi" is a manifestation of the high value given to the creativity of this great genius.

It was noted that Nizami's works educate young people in the spirit of love for the Motherland and respect for adults. It was noted in the speeches that the human problems posed in the works of the great poet, the monumental images created guarantee that these works will live forever and the deeds and dreams of the protagonist will live on forever.
