The Baku Museum of Contemporary Art hosted the opening of a solo exhibition by Honored Artist Sabina Shikhlinskaya entitled "Close" with the joint support of the Baku Goethe Center, the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden and Platform Art.

Swiss Ambassador Muriel Peneveyre said that the opening of such an exhibition in the context of a pandemic is not easy. As oil is an important part of our lives, there is great interest in this exhibition.
Speaking at the event, Latvian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Daynis Garancs and Swedish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Christian Kamill noted the professionalism of Sabina Shikhlinskaya and the grandeur of the exhibition.

The "Close" project is a multimedia exhibition of contemporary art. The main theme of the exhibition is the oil industry and the lives of oil workers who act in a "heroic" way. The exhibition features monumental paintings, video and sound installations.
