In mid-December 2019, COVID-19 began to appear in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, Hubei Province, with an outbreak of pneumonia of unknown origin in the local population. Chinese scientists have announced the new coronavirus as the year of COVID 2019 and determined the genetic sequence of its genome. The incubation period of the NEW coronavirus lasts from 2 to 10 days. On January 22, 2020, the study of the quarantine regime in Wuhan began. The World Health Organization named the infection COVID-19 on February 11 and declared the March 11 coronavirus a pandemic. Since the virus is not a fully-fledged living organism, some other organism is needed for its development and reproduction. The virus remains in the body of people who are infected with COVID-19 without any symptoms, and they play a role as carriers. When a weakened version of the virus is injected into the body in the form of a vaccine, the body begins to synthesize proteins against the virus and develops immunity. In the future, it is possible to pass the disease lightly during infection.

The only way out of this dreaded pandemic is to reduce the number of infections and eradicate the disease through vaccination. The sooner vaccination is started, the sooner the infection can be prevented. Vaccination must be carried out. There may be mild headache, fever, back pain after vaccination. There is no need to panic.

If the vaccination process is carried out in time, it will be possible to prevent a pandemic. Although very small, there are people who are temporarily contraindicated in the vaccination process, such as citizens under the age of 18, pregnant women and nursing mothers. The COVID-19 virus can be fatal to relatives, children, or co-workers who make a person sick for 1 or 2 weeks. Hundreds of people around the world die every year due to unvaccinated diseases due to unvaccinated diseases, and are unable to fulfill their obligations to their children, parents and responsible people.

The immune system accepts the vaccine as an angentin and produces antibodies against it. Because the body is familiar with the virus through vaccination, it is better prepared to deal with the disease and its complications are prevented. The vaccine is less dangerous than a live virus when it is infected, as it kills or attenuates germs and some antigenic substances they secrete. All clinical trials have resulted in only an allergic reaction in some cases when administered to 10,000 people.
Young and healthy people can also get sick and die. There are hundreds of such examples both in our country and in the world. Although the disease is asymptomatic and mild in young people, it can pose a great danger to other people around them. Therefore, the vaccine is the only way to save lives. Wear a mask, maintain social distance, hygiene, etc. Doing so reduces the chances of being exposed to the virus or infecting others. Vaccines, such as healthy eating, exercise, and health screening, also play an important role in keeping people healthy. However, these measures are not enough. Vaccines prepare your immune system to fight the virus.

On the basis of the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the Action Plan to prevent the spread of a new coronavirus disease in our country on January 30, 2020. On February 27, 2020, an Operational Staff consisting of heads of relevant government agencies and institutions was established under the Cabinet of Ministers to prevent the threat of coronavirus disease in Azerbaijan and to implement urgent measures, and all these measures have had a positive impact on the fight against the pandemic. .

By the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers dated January 16, 2021, the "Vaccination Strategy against COVID-19 in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2021-2022" was adopted. Vaccination platforms introduced by President Ilham Aliyev with great foresight have borne fruit. As a result, today the population in our country already has 4 types of vaccines. Each of them is effective and safe.

Mass immunity in the population is caused by those who are infected and vaccinated. At present, there are 2.9 million people vaccinated and 330,000 people cured of the disease in our country. The emergence of mass immunity in more than 70-80 percent of the country's population alone can create epidemiological stability. If the vaccination process is carried out in time, it will be possible to prevent a pandemic. District education officer
