The delegation of Al Jazeera Media Institute visited Baku State University (BSU).

Rector of BSU Elchin Babayev, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovations Huseyn Mammadov, Director of the Center for Organization of Scientific Activities and Innovations Mais Suleymanov, faculty of Oriental Studies, a delegation of Al-Jazeera Media Institute and Tehsil.biz reports. Employees of the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan attended.

The guests got acquainted with the activities of the University's BSU TV studio and Scientific Library.

Welcoming the guests, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev informed them that Azerbaijan is the strongest state in the region economically, politically and militarily, and the creative work currently underway in our country. The rector noted that the country's prestige in the international arena is growing day by day, and despite the efforts of hostile forces seeking to damage the image of Azerbaijan, our country ranks high in the rankings of international institutions and organizations. In addition, Rector Elchin Babayev noted that BSU annually exchanges students and teachers with various universities around the world.

Then, the media manager of Al-Jazeera Media Institute Montaser Mara informed the participants about the formation of the Institute, its place and role in the television space, the current situation and innovations. He shared five projects and programs and shared his views on future prospects of cooperation.

After showing the video about BSU, Vugar Garadagli, acting head of the Arabic philology department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Aida Gasimova, professor of the department and Kamala Musayeva, teacher of the department made a presentation on teaching and scientific research in Arabic studies.
