Important information has been spread about the reasons for the dismissal of the rector of Baku Slavic University Nurlana Aliyeva yesterday.

According to Bakupost.az, the last step of Nurlana Aliyeva, who came up with scandals several times during her tenure as rector, caused serious dissatisfaction at the highest level. Durdana Aliyeva gave false information to the public about the criminal case.

Thus, on April 29, the Prosecutor General's Office issued an official statement on the basis of numerous complaints from students of Baku Slavic University about the illegal actions of Durdana Aliyeva. , 32.4, 312.2 (incitement to bribery), 311.1 (bribery). However, the BSU press service directly denied the information and officially stated that Durdana Aliyeva had allegedly appealed to the Ministry of Education and the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding numerous illegal actions (even not related to the university).

This was an indirect response to the public opinion that D.Aliyeva did not commit this arbitrariness alone, did not take bribes voluntarily, and at the same time wanted to clarify the "cause" of the Prosecutor General's Office's operation.

However, immediately after the information was spread, the Prosecutor General's Office issued a second official statement exposing BSU's lies with the following words:

The Prosecutor General's Office denied the information and said that the criminal case was initiated on January 25, 2021 on the basis of appeals received by the Prosecutor General's Office's "161-Hotline" contact center regarding the misappropriation of students' tuition fees by Durdana Aliyeva. In 2021, the appeal of the rector of BSU was received by the Prosecutor General's Office through the Ministry of Education. The Prosecutor General's Office also issued a stern warning for such confusing information. Thus, after the Prosecutor General's Office opened a criminal case, rector Nurlana Aliyeva's appeal through the Ministry of Education, which was received exactly 10 days later, was in fact a "deliberate move to protect herself", at least underlining the rector's attempts to evade moral responsibility. Earlier, N.Aliyeva's most serious political mistake was to hold a writing contest about Primakov, one of the January 20 killers. The fact that this competition was held only among BSU students caused a great sensation, and the bad thing was that at that time, instead of apologizing, the university administration tried to prove that it was the right decision to the end. However, the same proposal was made for the first time by the Russian embassy to the Azerbaijan University of Languages ​​and was rejected. Speaking to the media, the head of the Russian Studies Research Laboratory of AUL, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Mammad Aliyev said that Primakov not only remains in the memory of Azerbaijanis as one of the killers of January 20, but also in his scientific articles written in the 1970s. -shows.

After this big political scandal, another bribery scandal at BSU, D.Aliyeva's misappropriation of funds of at least 100 students between 1000-7000 manats is a very serious event, which put an end to N.Aliyeva's career.
