The Baku International Center for Multiculturalism (BICM) project on teaching Azerbaijani multiculturalism abroad is currently implementing the course "Azerbaijani multiculturalism" in 22 foreign universities. As a result of the purposeful activity of UNICEF, the geographical scope of teaching the course is expanding.
Last week, another prestigious foreign university was added to the list. The Center for Multiculturalism and the University of Veliko Tarnova named after St. Cyril and Mifodi of Bulgaria have signed a cooperation agreement. It is planned to organize lectures on the course "Azerbaijani multiculturalism" at the University of Veliko Tarnova in the second semester of the 2021-2022 academic year on the basis of this cooperation agreement.
It should be noted that UNICEF is already cooperating effectively with one of the leading universities in Bulgaria - St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia, where the Center for Azerbaijani Language and Culture is successfully operating. The course "Azerbaijani multiculturalism" has been taught at this university since 2015 and has a wide audience.
