Discussion of the curriculum on the specialty "Corrective training" was organized by the Department of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Education 1 of the Azerbaijan University of Languages.

The discussion was attended by Lala Imanova, Chief Expert on Special and Inclusive Education, Bahram Huseynov, President of the Azerbaijan Society for the Deaf, Kamala Alakbarova, Assistant, Reyhan Jafarova, Deputy Chairman of the Society for the Visually Impaired, Gunay Badalzadeh, Psychologist of the Rehabilitation Center for People with Down Syndrome. Deputy Director Konul Huseynova, as well as AUL Rector's Adviser Anar Osmanli, Dean of Education 1 Faculty Fikret Jahangirov, Dean of Education 2 Faculty Salman Nuriyev, Dean of Translation Faculty Banovsha Mammadova, Head of Master's Department Firuza Rzayeva, Head of Additional Education and Practice Faculty Hamlar Ismaylar Chairman of the Union Committee Misgar Mammadov, heads of departments Sevda Zamanova, Gunay Shiraliyeva, Shalala Babayeva and others attended. The discussion focused on the main and elective subjects in the curriculum, their importance in the training of specialists, the need to take into account the individual needs of students with special educational needs in the learning process, the formation of highly qualified personnel.

Dean of the Faculty of Education of AUL, Professor F.Jahangirov opened the event with an introductory speech, greeted the participants of the meeting and spoke about the importance of the work carried out.

In her speech, the head of the Department of Pedagogy, Associate Professor N.Zeynalova stressed that as a leading department in the specialty, "Corrective Training" has been preparing for several years. Thus, the department has published a textbook "Pedagogy of Inclusive Education", employees of the department actively participate in numerous trainings and seminars in the country and abroad, have internships in various rehabilitation centers and relevant institutions.

Experts and guests invited to the meeting stressed the benefits of such joint events for society.

Chairman of the Azerbaijan Deaf Society B.Huseynov informed about the activities of the society and noted that the existing problems in this area are usually discussed without taking into account their participation, opinions and views, so the work done is not useful. Expert L.Imanova stressed the importance of the transition from inclusive education to an inclusive society, effective cooperation with the department for a long time, AUL Rector's Adviser A.Osmanli The importance of successful staff training in various specialties at AUL and discussion of a new specialty in such a format, Assoc. Prof. F.Rzayeva The successful activities of the department in various areas, Assoc. Prof. B.Mammadova spoke about the need for inclusive education for teachers, M.Mammadov spoke about ways to meet the special care and needs of this category of people.

Along with the discussion of curricula, the parties discussed the establishment of cooperation between the parties, the signing of relevant agreements, future steps and work to be done in this direction, and decisions were made.
