Lankaran State University (LSU) hosted a conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU).

Rector of Lankaran State University, Professor Natig Ibrahimov opened the online conference on "The role of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University in the training of teachers in Azerbaijan." Professor Natig Ibrahimov said that ADPU, whose 100th anniversary is celebrated at the state level, has made an exceptional contribution to the training of teachers in Azerbaijan. He congratulated the faculty and students on the anniversary. He said the university has successfully fulfilled its glorious mission since its inception. has provided our republic and the regions of other republics of the former union with professional pedagogical cards, and this work is still going on. Natig Ibrahimov also spoke about the prospects of successful cooperation between LSU and ADPU in the field of education and training of pedagogical staff.

Rector of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Professor Jafar Jafarov thanked the LSU leadership for organizing the conference and kind words. called the light, the center of enlightenment for the region. Speaking about the glorious path of ADPU for 100 years, the university official said that more than 160,000 teachers were trained during this period. If 100 years ago ADPU started with 6 students, now more than 18,000 students study at our university, our structure includes 5 branches - Jafar Jafarov told the conference participants that their main goal is to raise staff training to modern standards.
