The next sessions of the "School Reports" for the 2020-2021 academic year covered general education schools of Garadagh and Sabunchu districts.

According to Tehsil.biz, Mehriban Valiyeva, Head of the Baku City Education Department, Khayala Ahmadzadeh, Deputy Head of the Department, Fuad Babayev, Head of the General Education Sector, Anar Mustafazadeh, Head of the Quality Control Sector, Gunay Gurbanova, Head of the Development Projects Sector, (TDM) director Ilkin Hasanov and school principals attended.

Speaking at the hearings at secondary schools No. 253 and 90 in the capital, Mehriban Valiyeva spoke about the governance principles set out in the State Standards of General Education in the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as "On current issues and goals of general education in the 2020-2021 academic year." He spoke about the work done in the main priority areas identified by the order of the Minister of Education.

The head of the department stressed the importance of the school principal's constant focus on accountability, division of responsibilities and monitoring of development.

After hearing the reports of school principals, Fuad Babayev, Head of the General Education Sector, and Anar Mustafazadeh, Head of the Quality Control Sector, made a presentation on the analysis of general education schools in Garadagh and Sabunchu districts and the results of monitoring exams and final exams in IV, VIII and IX grades. Director of TDM Ilkin Hasanov conducted a training on "Needs and recommendations for school management and organization of pedagogical work."

Discussions focused on effective approaches to improving the quality of education in general education schools, methods and forms of quality improvement, organization of educational work in schools, increasing the efficiency of activities, orientation, quality control, supply, more complete communication of innovations in the life of educational institutions and other relevant topics. Opinions were heard, questions on issues of interest were answered.

The main purpose of listening to "school reports" is to organize the educational process in general education schools, to properly organize methodological work that directly affects the quality of general education, to increase the role of effective management in schools, to carry out systematic work to ensure a healthy and creative environment. It is aimed at raising the level of education, creating healthy competition, proper work with talented students and expanding the Olympic movement, expanding children's pre-school education, applying trends at the secondary level, discussing other relevant issues and ensuring a qualitatively new stage of education.
