Telman Nusratoglu, a lecturer in the Department of History and Archeology at Khazar University, has published a book, The South Caucasus Reports of the Ottoman Foreign (1852-1914) (Reports of Ottoman Foreigners in the South Caucasus), published in Turkey.
According to the university, the book covers the history of the Ottoman state, the last secular state of the Turkic-Islamic world, 1852-1914, which for centuries united many peoples with different languages, religions and cultures under its flags with great tolerance. The book is the first publication of very important Shahbender documents covering the activities of the Ottoman Foreign Ministry in the South Caucasus.
