Elnara Putayeva, a teacher and dissertator at the Department of Linguoculturology of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Education 1, represented the University at the International Symposium in Ankara.

The First International Symposium on Foreign Language Teaching was held on June 28-30, 2021 at Gazi University.

At the symposium, about 200 experts from different countries spoke and exchanged views on research, innovations in the field of foreign language teaching and the challenges and prospects of the current situation. One of the special points that increases the importance of the symposium is the wide scope, along with English, German, French, Turkish, Arabic and others. There were also speeches in different languages. Elnara Putayeva made a presentation on "Importance of Investigating Linguocultural Variability in Learning Foreign Languages" and this topic aroused great interest among the participants.
