Seminar at UNEC: Prospects for cooperation in the market of educational services of the Caspian countries

Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) hosted an online seminar on "Prospects for cooperation in the market of educational services of the Caspian countries (based on the analysis of the labor market of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan)."

 

According to UNEC, the seminar was organized by the Department for Coordination and Organization of Research Centers, Analytical Information Resources UNEC Research Center and the Caspian State University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh. Yessenov in Kazakhstan.

 

Opening the seminar, Rena Huseynova, Head of the Coordination and Organization of Research Centers of UNEC, drew attention to the urgency of the topic and stressed the importance of the event.

 

Then, Bibibgul Saubetova, an associate professor of finance at Khazar State University of Technology and Engineering, made a presentation and said that the development of science and technology has led to the creation of new specialties in the labor market. He said that higher education institutions should respond quickly to the requirements of the labor market and made proposals in this direction.

 

Ilkin Orujov, educational programs coordinator at Khazar State University of Technology and Engineering, briefed the participants on Kazakhstan's education system, emphasizing that education is a continuous process of education and training that helps develop the professional and moral qualities of the country's citizens.

 

Speaking at the event, Esmira Ahmadova, head of the UNEC Research Center for Analytical Information Resources, spoke about the impact of the pandemic on the labor market of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. He analyzed the current situation in the labor market and provided detailed information on the statistics of the economically active and inactive, employed and unemployed population. He made a number of proposals that will allow countries to choose the right path to restore the labor market in the post-pandemic period.

 

The seminar was met with interest by the participants, extensive discussions were held on the topic, and the speaker answered the questions of the participants.
