According to the recently released 2020 report of the US Clarivate Analytics Agency (this report provides information on the agency's list of innovations for the past period, included and excluded scientific journals, the dynamics of their impact factors, etc. TWMS Journal Pure and Applied Mathematics (TDRC), published at the Baku State University (BSU) Institute of Applied Mathematics (TRETI) and based on the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE). ) "Clean" and "Journal of Applied Mathematics") received an impact factor of 1,892.

This scientific journal is ranked 43rd among 330 international publications in the "Mathematics" category (section Q1), and 84th among 265 international publications in the "Applied Mathematics" category (section Q2).

According to TRETI, this publication is the second scientific journal in Azerbaijan, which is included in the database of Clarivate Analytics and received an impact factor.

Published in English since 2010, the journal publishes high-level, well-founded scientific articles in various fields of theoretical and applied mathematics. The editorial staff of the publication includes well-known scientists from more than 20 countries. The journal is distributed in universities and research centers in more than 50 countries.

All articles are published in authoritative databases such as MatReviews, Zentrablatt, VINITI, and are published on E-Letter and NA Digest scientific sites. So far, 21 issues of the magazine have been published.

It should be noted that the editor-in-chief of the magazine is academician Fikret Aliyev, director of the Applied Mathematics Research Institute of Baku State University, vice-president of TDRC. The editor-in-chief of the journal is Gamar Mammadova, PhD in Physical and Mathematical Sciences, a leading researcher of the institute.
