Then the dean of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University prof. dr. Ibrahim Guran Yumusak, researcher at the UNEC Islamic Financial Center Afgan Musayev, chairman of the Center for the Study of Economic Resources i.f.d. Ruslan Atakishiyev, Head of the Department of Islamic Studies of the Azerbaijan Theological Institute, Ph.D. Ahmad Niyazov, Chief Adviser of the Department of Science, Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vusala Gurbanova made a report on the Turkish experience in teaching Islamic finance, the establishment of subject blocks, curriculum development procedures.
The conference was attended by teachers and students of economics and finance faculties of universities, employees of banking, insurance and investment companies, entrepreneurs, researchers and doctoral students through an online platform.
It was noted at the event that more than 1,400 Islamic financial institutions have recently been operating in 102 countries with the application of the Islamic financial system, and their assets amounted to $ 3.8 trillion. USD, and the annual growth rate is 10-15%.
In modern times, the organization of training in higher education institutions on the Islamic financial system, which has a significant weight in the world economic system and is widely used in the development concepts of Azerbaijan in the future, has become a topical issue.
