The 25th Balkan Youth Mathematical Olympiad has been organized in the Republic of Moldova. 128 students from 21 countries took part in the Olympics.

Our schoolchildren successfully performed at the Olympics and won a total of 3 medals, including 1 gold and 2 silver medals. Thus, Jalil Huseynov, a ninth-grader at the Physics, Mathematics and Informatics Lyceum under the Ministry of Education, won gold, Anar Mehdiyev, a ninth-grader at the same lyceum, and Fidan Jafarli, a ninth-grader at the Turkish Solidarity Foundation Baku Turkish Lyceum, won silver medals.
