The 12-week English-language training course in Economics at Nakhchivan State University (NSU) has been successfully completed.

Speaking at the online event, which was also attended by American professors, the rector of the university Elbrus Isayev said that during the trainings, students learned about the functions of modern business, work environment, management, marketing and finance.

At the same time, business management with teachers, students and volunteers from other faculties of the university's economics department, the role of business centers in people's lives, the importance of international business, the concept of finance, etc. issues were discussed. It was noted that through these trainings, students also gained the opportunity to develop entrepreneurship, the ability to organize and manage it, virtual acquaintance with world-class business centers. The rector thanked the American experts for conducting trainings that are important for the future careers of teachers and students.

Each teacher and student participating in the training was awarded certificates signed by American experts - Harry Lipinski, Paul Prabhaker, Jamaladdin Husseini, Collin Hickman, Ronald Melka, John Calaras, Christopher Weiger, Michael Crziston.

The issues of future cooperation were discussed at the meeting, and the importance of joint exercises was highlighted.

It should be noted that online trainings by professors from the University of Northern Illinois in the United States began at the beginning of the 2020-2021 academic year to form and develop the practical professional skills of English-speaking students of economics and teachers who will teach in this specialty. The trainings held between NSU and US universities were important in further improving the level of training of teachers to teach in this specialty.
