The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Biophysics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).

ANAS told Tehsil.biz that the director general of the institute, corresponding member of the academy Oktay Gasimov acquainted the council members with the current issues. He noted that by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Institute of Biophysics was authorized to train doctoral students.

Then, the Institute of Biophysics discussed the programs on biophysics, biochemistry, mathematical biology, bioinformatics for admission and passing the minimum exams for doctoral students and dissertators, and decided to apply to the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Then, in accordance with the admission plan for doctoral and dissertation training for 2020/2021, the individual work plans of doctoral students and dissertators admitted to the Institute of Biophysics were discussed and approved.

The report on the work done by the researchers of the institute in the first half of the year according to the approved action plan for 2021 was discussed and relevant instructions were given.
