From May 26 to June 9, 137 schools in Baku, Absheron, Sumgayit, Ganja and Sheki were monitored by the Education Quality Assurance Agency. The monitoring was carried out in accordance with the requirements of the order of the Ministry of Education "On monitoring in general education institutions operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan during the special quarantine regime."

As a result of the monitoring, various violations were revealed in 68 public schools inspected, Tehsil.biz reports. Appropriate disciplinary measures were taken against the heads of general education institutions for violations of the rules for poor performance of labor functions and negligence in the performance of duties specified in the employment contract. Thus, 1 school head was severely reprimanded with the last warning, 5 were reprimanded, and 62 were warned.

It should be noted that the monitoring will be carried out in other schools located in different regions of the country and randomly selected during the "Temporary Rules for the organization of the teaching and learning process in educational institutions operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan during the special quarantine regime."
