Examples of Nizami Ganjavi's legacy in the British Library in UNEC research

The Library and Information Center (LIC) of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) continues the project "Nizami Ganjavi's heritage in world libraries".

 

According to UNEC, in the second phase of the project, Nizami Ganjavi's legacy was studied at the British Library. There are 196 books, 42 audio materials, 4 articles and 1 thesis on Nizami Ganjavi's legacy in the library.

 

Along with Baku, these works are exhibited in Tabriz, New York, London, Paris, Zurich, Amsterdam, Tashkent, Moscow, Tokyo, Tbilisi, Berlin, Leipzig, Vienna, Rome, Lahore, Tehran and others. Azerbaijani, Turkish, English, Russian, French, German, Italian, Arabic, Persian, Latin, Swedish, etc. in the cities. published or recorded in languages. The study found that the oldest surviving examples of Nizami's legacy in the British Library are believed to have been written in Persian in 1373 in Tehran.

 

One of the most interesting publications in the library was the poet's work published in Latin in Leipzig in 1802.
