Additional education (re-higher education) is carried out only on a paid basis, on the basis of individual agreements concluded between the enterprise, organization, department and individual citizens on a form of part-time education and a public legal entity of Baku State University. Additional education is provided on the basis of specially developed educational programs, covering the sections of general and specialty subjects in the existing basic education programs for the bachelor's (and equivalent) level in the relevant specialty, taking into account the difference between the student's initial basic education program and the basic education program of the new specialty .

Those wishing to receive additional education must submit the following documents:
- Application addressed to the Rector;
- Notarized copy of the document on higher education (diploma and its appendix);
- 4 photos of 3x4 cm size;
- Health certificate;
- Copy of ID card.

Graduates of foreign higher education institutions must submit a Certificate issued by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan on recognition and equivalence of their specialties in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Applications are accepted from July 9 to August 10, 2021 (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays) from 10:00 to 17:00 in the main building (room 249).

A competition is organized with those who have applied to the University for additional education. Those who successfully pass the competition are admitted to the list of students majoring in additional education by contract.

Education is in Azerbaijani and Russian languages. Tuition fees are paid on a contractual basis in accordance with individual specialties.
