A team of students from the Law Faculty of Baku State University (BSU) took part in a competition on international humanitarian law held by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Representation in Azerbaijan among Azerbaijani universities.
Rubaba Abdullayeva, a doctoral student at the Department of International General Law of BSU, was a guest speaker at the first stage of the competition.
In the competition, the teams demonstrated theoretical and practical elements of international humanitarian law to independent judges, including a simulation scenario of armed conflict and other situations of violence.
The BSU team, consisting of 3rd year students of the English department of the Faculty of Law - Sona Abdullayeva, Kamran Ahmadli and Lala Ahmadzade, was awarded second place in the competition.
