From today, e-documents will be accepted for the transfer of students from higher education institutions in the country or abroad, change of specialty and (or) form of education, as well as the transfer of students of secondary special education institutions in our country (by form of education).

Tehsil.biz reports that the acceptance of documents through the transfer.edu.az portal will last until July 26. Applicants to the portal have the opportunity to choose the educational institution they want to transfer to. To do this, trainees can determine whether they meet the transfer criteria by entering the required information.

When transferring students from one higher education institution or specialty at the undergraduate level to another, the specialties in which the student is admitted and wants to transfer must be within the same specialty group determined by the State Examination Center.

It should be noted that the transfer of students from one specialty (specialization) to another at the master's level of higher education is not allowed. Students studying at that level have the right to change only the form of education, to transfer from one higher education institution to another in the same specialty (specialization) in the first academic year.

At the same time, the student's score in the entrance exams conducted by the State Examination Center must not be less than the minimum passing score in the relevant specialty at the higher education institution where he / she wants to transfer in the year of admission. Also, the specialties in which the student is admitted and wants to transfer must be within the same group of specialties determined by the State Examination Center.

Persons transferred from one higher education institution to another, changing their specialization (except for the transfer of students in the same specialty on the basis of the state order) continue their education only on a paid basis. Students who change or transfer to another form of education (except for the transfer of students in the same specialty on the basis of the state order) pay tuition fees in accordance with the amount determined for the group to be studied.

Transfer or reinstatement of students of non-accredited foreign higher education institutions to higher education institutions of the Azerbaijan Republic is not allowed. The fact that the higher education institution where the student studied is included in the ranking list of the best higher education institutions in the world is also among the indicators taken into account. Students studying by correspondence at foreign universities are not transferred to the country's universities.

In this case, the specialties "history and geography teaching", "history teaching" and "history" defined in the II and III specialty groups, as well as the specialties "international relations" and "regional studies" defined in the II specialty group with other specialties included in the III specialty group (excluding culture and art specialties) are considered eligible.
