Hundreds of young people graduate from the Azerbaijan Medical University, which has the largest number of foreign students in our country. Miriam Arielle Mopia Foubi is one of the graduates of AMU this year. Originally from Cameroon, Miriam studied for a master's degree at the Department of Pharmacognosy of AMU.

 

A Cameroonian student defending some pharmacognostic studies of the plant "Agrimonia eupatoria L." has already published 1 international article and 1 international thesis on the subject.

 

Miriam Arielle Mopia Foubi, who was very excited and worried when she arrived in Baku two years ago, now treats Azerbaijan as her homeland:

 

“I saw a very nice and friendly attitude here, both from people and representatives of the Azerbaijan Medical University. They helped me in everything. At the Department of Pharmacognosy, I witnessed a real family relationship. I was even taken to the sights and regions of Azerbaijan. "

 

Miriam Arielle says she has gained knowledge and made many friends here. He thanked the leadership of AMU, especially the head of the Department of Pharmacognosy and the teaching staff for leaving Baku as a highly qualified specialist:

 

“I would like to express my deep gratitude to my supervisor, Ayten Shukurova, a senior lecturer at the Department of Pharmacognosy, who taught me the theoretical and practical knowledge that we have suffered for two years. Finally, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the leaders of the Azerbaijan Medical University, as well as the residency and master's department for the attention and care. "

 

Miriam Arielle Mopia Foubi, who received the highest marks in the defense, leaves AMU and Azerbaijan with good impressions and hopes to return here soon and see her friends.
