On July 9, 2021, the Department of Psychiatry of the Azerbaijan Medical University held an online webinar on "Modern approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of schizophrenia."

Professor Bilal Asadov, associate professor Leyla Mehdiyeva, assistants of the department Gulay Mammadzade and Jeyhun Mammadzade, dissertation of the department Jamila Ismayilova made a report at the webinar. The event was attended by more than 200 psychiatrists and field therapists. The participants highly appreciated the presented reports and noted their relevance.

  They stressed the importance of continuing webinars on psychiatry.
