Certificates were presented to graduates who successfully completed a Chinese language course at UNEC

Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) hosted a ceremony to present certificates to graduates who successfully completed distance Chinese language courses organized on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

 

Opening the event, UNEC Vice-Rector, Associate Professor Anar Rzayev said that the third phase of Chinese language courses, which began at UNEC in 2019 in a distance form, has been successfully completed. The vice-rector thanked the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Chinese Embassy in Azerbaijan, the Confucius Institute and Beijing State University for their support.

 

Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Guo Ming said that Azerbaijan-China cooperation was successfully developing in all areas, including education. Expressing satisfaction with the growing interest in the Chinese language in Azerbaijan, the ambassador said it would contribute to the further expansion of friendly relations between the two countries. Congratulating the graduates, Ms. Go Min invited them to visit China.

 

MP Soltan Mammadov spoke about the attention and care shown by First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva to the development of education in the country, emphasizing the importance of Chinese language courses initiated by the Foundation's Vice President Leyla Aliyeva. He noted that the project will have a positive impact on high-level economic and cultural ties between the two countries. Speaking about the high level of organization of Chinese language courses at UNEC, Mammadov noted that the university has achieved great success in the field of distance education in the country.

 

Agshin Aliyev, Head of the Azerbaijani Language Department of Beijing University of Foreign Languages, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, and Rafig Abbasov, Director of the Confucius Institute, congratulated the graduates and said the project would further strengthen Azerbaijan-China friendly relations.

 

At the end, the graduates were awarded certificates.
