Azerbaijan Theological Institute (ATI) hosted a webinar on Eid al-Adha.

The Institute told Tehsil.biz that the event, organized through the ZOOM program, was attended by AII management, teachers and students.

Rector of the AII, Doctor of Philosophy in Theology, Associate Professor Agil Shirinov congratulated the participants on the upcoming Eid al-Adha.

The rector stressed the importance of following the rules of the special quarantine regime and the recommendations of the Caucasian Muslims Office, both during the slaughter and during the holiday prayers and celebrations.

Mufti Haji Salman Musayev, First Deputy Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, explained the worship of Qurban in Islam from a historical and religious point of view and gave detailed information about the holiday.

Mufti Haji Salman Musayev noted the responsibility of AII students. It was stated that students graduating from higher education institutions should study Islam properly and be responsible for conveying it to people in the right way.
