On July 16, Acting Rector of Baku Slavic University (BSU), Doctor of Philosophy in Political Sciences Anar Nagiyev congratulated Mehri Akhundova, Associate Professor of the Department of Practical Russian Language and its Teaching Methods, on her 75th birthday, Azerbaijan Multiculturalism and the Faculty of International Relations, Regional Studies and Journalism. Babashah Babayev, a senior lecturer at the Department of Local Lore, a veteran of the First Karabakh War, was received on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

On behalf of the university staff, acting rector of BSU Anar Nagiyev congratulated Associate Professor Mehri Akhundova and head teacher Babashah Babayev on their significant anniversaries, wished them good health, long life, new achievements, long-term fruitful scientific and pedagogical activities. He presented them with a letter of appreciation for their services in educating the younger generation. Anar Nagiyev stressed the importance of promoting their great work experience in society.

 Associate Professor Mehri Akhundova and head teacher Babashah Babayev thanked the leadership of BSU for the attention and said they would continue to work hard.
