Employees of the Department of Physical Electronics of the Faculty of Physics of Baku State University obtained nanostructured porous-Si (MS or MSCD) sheets with pore size in the range of 8-70 nm on p-Si plates by electrochemical inoculation in HF + alcohol + metal salt + sucrose type solution.

Structures of p-Si / MSCD / CdS type were prepared by deposition of thin layers of CdS nanostructure by photo-electrochemical deposition on the surface of MSCD layers. It was found that the sensitivity of structures to different gases of natural nature (oxygen, alcohol vapor, nitrogen, argon, carbon monoxide) can be purposefully controlled depending on the size of the pores and technological parameters. Carrying out tanning in a metal + sucrose environment not only increases the sensitivity to the gas, but also ensures the stability of the parameters of the structures.
