The National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi announces admission to doctoral and dissertation specialties for 2021.

It was noted that admission to the doctoral program in PhD in Literary Theory, Literary Analysis and Criticism (full-time), Azerbaijani literature (full-time), world literature (full-time), museology (full-time), Azerbaijani literature (part-time), world literature (part-time) (1 place for all specialties) is announced.

Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who have completed a master's degree in higher education (defending a master's dissertation) or whose education is equivalent to it are admitted to the doctoral program on a competitive basis. Those wishing to be admitted to doctoral and dissertation programs in the Doctor of Philosophy program must take an exam in a foreign language at the State Examination Center in accordance with the curricula in force for the higher education level (except for Russian, the choice is free or appropriate). Those who get a passing score in the foreign language exam are admitted to the philosophy exam. Those who pass the subject of philosophy are admitted to the specialty exam.

To obtain the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by dissertation, a dissertation must be completed by a master's degree (defending a master's dissertation) or equivalent, with certain achievements in the relevant field of research and the main place of work is a higher education institution, scientific institution and organization. Persons wishing to be promoted must have at least two years of scientific or scientific-pedagogical work experience.

Persons who have completed their studies by dissertation cannot be re-dissertators in the same specialty.

Persons who have completed a full-time doctoral program may not study for a dissertation in the same specialty.

Documents for doctoral and dissertation programs on preparation of Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Sciences will be available every day (except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays) until August 20, 2021 from 10:00 to 17:00 at the National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi ( 53, Istiglaliyyat str., Baku.

Application to the head of the scientific institution for admission to doctoral and dissertation programs on the Doctor of Philosophy program, personnel registration sheet, biography, 2 photos (3 × 4 cm), extract from the workbook for those with work experience, job description, printed list of scientific works or abstract on the chosen specialty, duly certified copy of diploma of higher education (certificate of recognition of educational documents for citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who studied abroad), international certificate of foreign language skills (IELTS, TOEFL, TestDaf, DALF (if any) or a foreign language score must be accompanied by a supporting document issued by the State Examination Center and a copy of an identity document.

Holders of a valid international language certificate in a foreign language (IELTS, TOEFL, TestDaf, DALF) are exempt from the foreign language entrance exam. The equivalence of the examination results of the international language certificate is determined by the State Examination Center.

Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who have scientific or scientific-pedagogical achievements in their chosen field, are able to conduct fundamental research at a high level and have the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) are admitted to the doctoral program under the Doctor of Sciences program.

The right to receive the degree of Doctor of Sciences through dissertation has the scientific and scientific-pedagogical staff with the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and the main place of work is a higher education institution, scientific institution and organization.

Persons who have completed their studies by dissertation cannot be re-dissertators in the same specialty.

Persons who have completed a full-time doctoral program may not study for a dissertation in the same specialty.

The following documents must be submitted to the relevant scientific institutions of ANAS for admission to doctoral and dissertation programs on the Doctor of Sciences program:

- application (in the name of the head of the institution or organization where the doctoral program operates and conducts dissertation education);

- personnel registration card;

- autobiography;

- 2 photos (3 × 4 cm in size);

- Certificate of employment;

- extract from the employment record book;

- list of published scientific works;

- duly certified copy of the diploma of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD);

- duly certified copy of the diploma of higher education (certificate of recognition of documents on education for citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who studied abroad);

- A copy of the identity document.
