The team of students of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) has qualified for the final stage of the TEKNOFEST competition.

UNEC told Tehsil.biz that in the international competition organized by Selcuk Bayraktar, the UNEC team showed the highest result in universities in the "Agricultural Technologies" category (84.50 points) and took the first place among the finalists.

The Azerbaijan AgroDrone team, consisting of students from the UNEC Faculty of Digital Economics, presented the idea of ​​a drone in the category of agricultural technologies. The drone will irrigate and treat the fields, thus increasing productivity in agriculture at low cost.

The captain of the team and the head of the project is Mahammad Rahimov. Ali Bashirov, chief programmer, Samir Safarli, chief engineer, Samir Mammadov, Ibrahim Mammadov, Emin Velizadeh, Arif Salmanzadeh and Rashad Garibzadeh are represented as team members.

The main purpose of TEXNOFEST, one of the largest technological competitions in the world, is to develop aviation, space and technological skills among young people, to support new ideas and initiatives.
