The selection of specializations announced by the State Examination Center (SEC) for the 2021/2022 academic year for admission to vacant places in higher education institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan and master's programs of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences continues.

The Ministry of Education and Science informs Tehsil.biz that admission to the vacant places is based on the points gained in the first or second attempt of the entrance exams held on February 28 and May 26. Bachelors who meet the minimum requirements and have the right to participate in the selection of specializations, based on the results of the first or second attempt of the master's entrance exam (in some programs, as well as the aptitude test) are allowed to choose vacant specializations. In order to participate in the competition for vacancies, these bachelors must enter the relevant page of the website of the Ministry of Education and Science by 23 August at 11:59 pm and confirm the codes of their chosen specialties in the "Bachelor's e-specialization application". As of 12:25 today, 2,416 bachelors have approved their applications for admission to vacant master's degrees.

It should be noted that bachelors can participate in the selection of specializations and competitions on the basis of their results (scores) in any attempt at the exam. Undergraduates who meet the requirements of both examinations choose the exam result they want to participate in the competition. The list of specializations with vacancies was published in the 6th issue of "Magistr" magazine.
