The recent reduction of coronavirus infection in Azerbaijan has allowed the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers to remove many restrictions. However, some conditions were set that everyone must follow. Unfortunately, many people began to consider it a heroic act to ignore these conditions, for example, they were allowed to walk outdoors without a mask, and people did not wear a mask indoors.

MP Aziz Alakbarli told this to AZERTAC. He said: “Monitoring of weddings has shown that people not only go to parties without vaccination passports, but also the number of participants in weddings is often violated. Disinfection in the streets, offices, enterprises, even in many large markets, disinfectants have disappeared, and so on.

The result is obvious, the number of infections, active patients and deaths began to rise rapidly. Two weeks ago, the number of new infections in Azerbaijan was just over 200, today it is close to 2,000. Today, the number of active patients, which has dropped to 1,000, is about to reach 15,000. While the daily death toll has dropped to zero, today it has exceeded 10 people.

It should not be forgotten that new mutations in the coronavirus are spreading rapidly in various countries, especially in neighboring countries such as Russia, Iran and Georgia.

We have more disturbing forecasts ahead, as our compatriots who went to different countries during the summer holidays will return after a while, and they are likely to become potential carriers of the virus.

Therefore, if the number of infected people in our country continues to grow, it will be necessary to impose restrictions, and the Operations Headquarters will soon have to take a number of preventive measures. The only way out is for everyone to strictly follow the requirements, to carry out vaccination work quickly and massively.
