The competition for the specialties included in the I-IV specialty groups of higher education institutions is based on the total score of the entrant in the entrance exam (together for both stages).
The State Examination Center told Tehsil.biz that entrants with a total score of not less than 200 and a score of not less than 100 on the second stage of the exam are allowed to participate in the competition for the third specialty group (both on the basis of the state order and on a paid basis).
The requirements for certain specialties are partially different:
- Applicants with a relative score of not less than 40 on the subject of English are allowed in the first stage of the entrance exam (competition for graduates of the current year) for the competition of specialties taught in English in public higher education institutions (except ADA University);
- Foreign language subject in the first stage of the entrance exam for the specialties of translation (on languages), philology (on foreign language and literature) and foreign language teaching (on languages) of state higher education institutions (except ADA University) (final exam for current year graduates) Applicants with a relative score of not less than 40 are admitted;
- The total score for the competition of places allocated on a paid basis for the specialties of museum, archive and monument protection, social work is not less than 150 and the score for the second stage of the exam is not less than 50 (total score for places allocated on the basis of state order is 200 applicants with a score of not less than 100) are released.
