On August 29, 2021, a group of academic, administrative and student staff members of Mingachevir State University (MSU) took part in the commemoration ceremony held on the occasion of the birthday of the martyred graduate of the university Azami Huseynov.
First of all, the participants of the event, visiting the Alley of Martyrs in Mingachevir, laid flowers at the grave of the heroic graduate, who rose to the summit of sacred martyrdom to ensure the territorial integrity of our country, and paid tribute to his memory.
Then, members of the martyr's family, comrades-in-arms, university staff and representatives of the city community spoke at the commemoration ceremony in front of the fountain built in the name of the martyr. It was noted in the speeches that our heroic martyrs played an important role in the restoration of historical justice by liberating our ancient lands from the enemy occupation, which we have longed for for 30 years in the 44-day war, and spoke about the glorious path of A. Huseynov.
Talking about A.Huseynov's high moral qualities and exemplary behavior during his studies at the university, being a patriotic and disciplined student, the members of the academic staff of MSU noted that they were proud of the heroic graduates of the university.
Expressing deep respect to the parents who brought up children worthy of their homeland and nation, the participants wished mercy to all our martyrs who gave their lives and blood for the freedom of our lands, and wished healing to our veterans.
It should be noted that the martyred graduate of Moscow State University A.Huseynov was born on August 29, 1992 in Mingachevir. A. Huseynov received higher education at MSU in 2010-2014. A.Huseynov, who was heroically martyred in the battles for Sugovushan in the 44-day Patriotic War on October 8, 2020, was awarded the medals "For the Motherland" and "For the Freedom of Sugovushan" in accordance with the relevant order of the President.
The martyr's wife, Minaya Huseynova, is currently the coordinator of the Student Patriotic Development Center (STPC) at Moscow State University. TVIM, established to ensure flexible and effective coordination of the work carried out to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism, focuses on perpetuating the names of our heroic martyrs and promoting their heroism among the younger generation.
