On November 20-21, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children and the Regional Development Public Union will jointly organize a hackathon "Children's Rights".

This was reported to AZERTAC by the Ministry of Education. It was noted that 10-16-year-old schoolchildren, who are aware of children's rights, innovative, enterprising, able to work in a team and motivated, can register for participation in the hackathon until September 15.

The purpose of the hackathon is to raise awareness about children's rights, to promote innovative solutions to existing problems in this area. At the same time, hackathon participants have the opportunity to work in a team and test the latest technologies and innovations.

Within 24 hours, participants will try to find innovative ways to solve existing problems in this area. Teams, each consisting of 4 people, will formulate their ideas in the form of a project with the support of mentors over a period of time. The hackathon will cover education, health, protection from violence, the right to family and upbringing.

In Hackathon, the first place winner will receive a computer, the second place winner will receive a tablet, and the third place winner will receive a "smart" watch.
