Schools in India have been closed due to an unknown virus

An unknown virus has spread in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Signs of infection are high fever and shortness of breath. Due to the virus, classes in schools have been suspended until September 6.

More than 70 people have fallen victim to the unknown virus, most of them young people and children under the age of 32.

State Prime Minister Yogi Adityantah said special medical teams and medical supplies had been sent to the area where the unknown virus had spread. Doctors are doing their best to prevent the virus.

According to TASS, experts say that the new virus is spread by mosquitoes. Now is the rainy season in India.
