A memorandum on cooperation was signed between the State Employment Agency and the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
According to Tehsil.biz, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Anar Aliyev said at the signing ceremony that one of the directions of active employment programs is to support the integration of graduates into the labor market, and relevant work is being done in this direction. He also stressed the importance of improving curricula in accordance with the requirements of the labor market. The Deputy Minister noted that the signed memorandum allowed for joint work in these and other areas.
Rector of AzTU Vilayat Valiyev stressed that the purpose of signing the Memorandum is to develop cooperation in science, education and university-industry cooperation. He said that as a result of joint cooperation, the organization of training in relevant professions, obtaining industry certificates, the University's participation in the development of professional standards for specialties and increasing the professional skills of students will be provided.
The cooperation document was signed by V. Valiyev and Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency M. Abbasbayli.
According to the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in researching the labor market to determine the demand for engineers in various fields, improving curricula to meet the requirements of the labor market to improve the quality of the educational process, developing various social projects for vulnerable students.
The document also envisages holding graduate fairs and other events to ensure employment and integration of graduates into the labor market, developing students' business skills, establishing startups and incubation centers, and implementing joint innovative projects.
During the event, the guests also got acquainted with the teaching laboratories of AzTU.
